WEBINAR HOST AND EXPERT
John Letal is a Director of Field Service ensuring that the group provides quality installation, commissioning, and testing services to support the products manufactured by Qualitrol. From 2012 to 2019 he was also responsible for supporting the rotating machine stator endwinding vibration monitoring product line at Iris Power, a Qualitrol Company. Prior to Qualitrol, John spent 7 years with Siemens TurboCare as a Field Service Engineer troubleshooting large rotating equipment using such tools as vibration analysis, resonance detection, operating deflection shape modeling, and modal analysis. He was also involved in the implementation of vibration analysis programs and the instruction of courses related to vibration theory. John holds a BSc in Manufacturing Engineering from the University of Calgary, a MEng degree in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Toronto, and is registered as a Professional Engineer in Alberta, Canada.
